Im wondering if anyone know of, or if there is any videos or instructions on how to instal a Holley 1850-3 600. I want to install it on my 68 Mercury Cougar XR-7, problem is i've never done anything like this before. I want to learn how to do it and not have to pay someone to do it for me. Thanks

I would like to commend you on this thought process...It will take you far in the classic car restoration hobby.

The install is easy. The tuning is the part you need to brush up on.
Holley 1850 is the most common and easiest of the Holley carbs I have owned to use. Holley has a channel on youtube to teach you all about it.
Is it a new carb? Used? Makes a difference on how to advise the tuning. If it is new you should not need to do much. Just install and drive. The fitment of your throttle bracket, linkage, kickdown, fuel line and vacuum lines are also a consideration. Use a quality fuel filter. They need it.
