I'm looking for some of that body putty that manufactures use to fill in small openings often found in wheel wells and other areas. The stuff that firms up but never really hardens. Some kind of filler material. I have no idea what it's called. Can anyone help?

thats it. I bought a caulking tube of it from the local auto paint store for about 10$. Used it to redo the pinch weld seam at firewall. It is sandable and paintable. It got firm, but not too hard. Soft enough to make a small impression with your fingernail.
