That is an interesting link. With the mid year introduction of the Boss 302 and late introduction of the Mach 1 made changing the decal. I'm sure the Cougar will have some of that as well in 1969. With no mid year new power trains in the 1970 model year there may not be any revisions to it in 1970.
I all so noted the first 2 have 69 part numbers(C9) and the other 2 have 70 part numbers (D0). But that is a normal with late introduction parts. Thanks for posting the link.

That was the odd thing that brought the subject up with the Mustang decals (69) its not normal to see the next years numbering system being applied 6 months before the end of the production year on those cars. Also you might notice that some of the "model" changes were for models that were never released/built and listed on the sticker But back to the subject ............................................................... Here are a couple of 70 VIN stickers from Cougars that might help the collection 0F91G5094xx ........................................................................................ 0F91H5214xx This one is interesting since it still has the Hertz retail ID label (used in some regions) still attached to the door jamb............................................................................................ .......................................................................................................................................... Sorry don't have real or projected build dates for either......................................Hmm got to get the hang of how to include pictures in the responses over here
