cool - those were the ones they pulled from production due to safety concerns with the wheels coming apart I think....... talk about separation anxiety! Probably fine on a car that isn't driven hard I would think. don't get spirited with them!

No, that wat not this type of wheels.

It was the Rader wheels that got recalled due to a separation problem, they where to be on the G model, and a few got the wheels, and there are some still out there, mostly used for display, and at shows.

The Rader wheels looks like this

What Jan said -

The Magstars where an optional wheel on the '67 Shelby Mustang and a slightly different version (smaller "windows") was an option on Mercury (Montego/Marauder? too lazy to look it up).

And as the picture that catman illustrates they were used on the Bud Moore Engineering Trans-Am Cougars during the Sebring race in '67.

Great looking wheel, I think.

Now if you wanted to get these restored with new centers and lugs, it's around 300.00 each. Check out Paradise Wheels Inc. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-GT-350...m35f42e0aad:m:m9OAT2fNkhr19NN_BgAWdTQ&vxp=mtr
