I have a chance to buy a NOS scoop and was curious if this is an eliminator scoop? And what is this worth? I would like to use it on my 70 XR7 Convertible possibly.

On the back side it reads;

Looks like one, Id have to pull mine off and look at numbers, but looks good. How much is it going for.

For an NOS scoop I'd grab it RIGHT NOW for that price. THey also used these scoops on the Cyclone, and some Mavericks too. it will be later this afternoon until I can take mine off. Go for it.

It looks to be in good shape. Buy it.
It's not really NOS though, is it? If it's been used it can't be 'New Old Stock'. They were used on 71-up Comet GTs, not Mavericks. Mavs had the twin snorkels on later Grabbers.

Its on my Fairlane now, but I got another scoop (Boss 429) scoop for it and will be on soon.

I got mine for about 100 bucks. Thats about what I have seen them go for. If it's really clean with no cracks, I'd say go for it. Ask yourself this... When do you think you will see another one this clean for less? If the answer is never or a very long time, then you would be a fool not to get this one. Good Luck.

Munch, its for my cougar, so NO....... That's why its coming off the Fairlane, my cars almost ready. 'nother few weeks and it should be on the road, ugly but on the road.
