Got my new ignition switch and key cylinder in today. They came in separate boxes. I'm looking at them and I appears that the cylinder just slides into the switch, but I want to make sure this is the case before I force anything and end up unhappy. Anyone have any knowledge on the subject?

Thanks,
Wayne

I'm still looking for someone who might know how the key cylinder goes into the ignition switch. I looked in my manuals after work last night and didn't really get an answer.

you have to use a paper clip to stick into the little hole in the lock cylinder. if you look at the backside of the lock cylinder there is a groove that the spring loaded pin on the elect. part of the switch slides in. push the spring loaded pin in with the paper clip and then turn the lock cylinder in until it seats itself.
