But, the time has come. 70 Cougar rear clip, this week to the recycle. Extra front and rear valances 67/8, to the recycle. 1980's engine lab scope/diagnostic machine, to the recycle. 67/8 roof, to the recycle...Fenders to get cut up to make rear quarter panel patches, 6 ea.
And, a complete 1967 "articulated strut rod suspension, for drum brakes" Also, to get recycled, with the 8 inch diff and leafs...
And glass, lets not forget the door glass and back lite for 67/8..

I cashed in ten aluminum wheels, at 60 cents a pound, just at a hundred bucks...

I sent my 69 Boss 429 heads to the recycle place too. Aluminum is bringing a lot of money now.
I KNOW you are kidding about this. You ARE kidding aren't you LARRY??!!

Right at a thousand pounds, "made" almost 70 dollars.....40 dollars in gas, plus lunch for me and my helper, net cash gain=0.....

$7 per 100? For #1 steel or light iron? It is a lot more where I go, something like $14/100 and $12/100 respectively the last time I took a load of "Bronx Cat".
