Thought on most there was a plug that you used a 3/4 socket wrench on. But there's no plug? I know my rear end needs some fluid, but the only thing I see is taking the service plate off, there has got to be a better way!!!! lol

There'a a square headed plug on the drivers side about mid way up, you get at it from the front of the carrier. take the plug out and stick your little finger in the hole, if it can reach the lube your good.

There's no service plate on a 9" ford rear.
If you have a removable plate on the rear, you don't have the original rear end.
