Will a 69 Cougar door glass fit in a 69 Mustang fastback door? What is the difference? Thanks.

Very different... Trim on backside will not fit either.

I was told door glass from a 69 mustang coupe will fit a 69 cougar convertible as well as the 1/4 glass.

Pat, pretty sure you are correct about the 1/4 glass. I bought 70 mustang coupe 1/4 glass to go with '70 door glass. Not sure about the door glass but I *think* you are correct.

What is different other than the trim? I have fastback trim and have not tried to install on the Cougar glass.

We are trying to make the Cougar glass fit in the Fastback door. Fastback and coupe doors are the same.

Fast back glass slopes down on the top edge as it goes to the rear. Cougar coupe / convertible, Mustang coupe / convertible all share the same glass in 69, Fastback is the oddball.

Reminds me of the time I tried to put some doors from a Pinto hatchback on a Pinto wagon.
