I bought my Classic Cougar (base model) 1967 last fall. A 289, with 2v and 3 speed automatic.

I have spent last winter fixing quite a few things. I will get her last tuneup/fixing (what is left) in 3 weeks.

But while driving last May, i felt a jerk sensation while I was driving in straight lines, on the passenger side. So i investigated鈥orror show!

Now, see this (my nightmare is minimal but i need to know what to order! I know: its in a dangerous state!)

So, what do I need??馃槄馃槄

You need to get a better look at the entire system. Put the car on jack stands in front. Please be sure to be safe. Block the back tires. Then, shake the tire like you did in the video and you will see some if not all of the components that need attention. Move each tire like you did from under the car and watch which components are moving. Try for up and down movement as well. WCCC has a good video on this. At first glance, you need several replacements, then alignment.
