Well, my horn ring broke and I'm trying to replace it, and I have the steering wheel removed and I'm looking at the horn ring and I can't figure out how to access the screws that hold it in. I had it removed once before, but have forgotten how to access the screws. Can anyone tell me the process to remove it?

Thanks, Nate

Remove the two screws that hold the pad on, remove pad and then push down on the center of horn ring and turn to the left.

Step 1: Disconnect negative cable from battery.

FYI, I've had a related problem with the horn ring on '68 FoMoCo products I've owned over the years: the tabs that make contact and complete the circuit to blow the horn get bent, which means you have to press on the sides of the horn ring to make good contact. They may need to be bent a bit so that the horn ring completes the circuit when pressed anywhere along it's circumference.
