Trying to figure out whats up before I jump into it. I took a quadrajet off a 350 and have a holley 670 but the bolts are spaced different, also the intake has 2 long holes. I know on my 302 i have a edlebrock preformer intake and its one large square. Am I needing a adapter plate? Will it even work with the intake? Sorry I know this is a chevy, not mine a friends 59 apache, just trying to help out.

Go to Summit or Jegs and buy the adaptor plate - assuming the throttle and choke stuff will line up..? I'd look first....

So, you are swapping the holley onto the 59 Chev, is that correct? And you are not sure if the Holley will bolt up? I've seen Q-jet adapters before, but I've never heard of an intake adapter to run a Holley before.

You are attempting to put a square bore carb on a spread bore manifold and will need the above adapter or one like it.
