I have a 69 Cougar and will be sanding down body work this weekend. I need some help on how to take off that large chrome trim panel on the out side of the rocker panels.
Also dismantling trim strips around the vinyl top on the windows.?

the rocker moulding is held on by plastic clips and a screw ( i think) on mine i just pulled from the bottom edge and release the clips....
anyone can correct me if not though

The chrome trim around the windows is easy. It just prys off from the bottom of the trim. Just lift out and up from either end.

As for the quarter trim for the vinyl, they're held on by pegs that go into holes in your quarter, just pop em off.
