Question, did the Cougar ever have a 289 HiPo as an option inn '67? I was told by my dad that our Cougar had a 289 HiPo, but later was told that the Cougar was never made with the 289? If my dad's right, then my upgrqdes will scream, if not, they'll do just fine! -EDUB

No HiPo K code engines for the Cougar, only C and A codes. The only extraordinary engine that the Cougar got (that the mustang didn't) was the W code 427 side oiler.

So if I am reading that invoice right it was built WITHOUT air, but with dash opening, etc.

I believe other GT-E owners have installed air, I know I did in mine, it just wasn't available from the factory.
