Can anyone tell me what the voltage should be at the fuse panel for the instruments .... Trying to figure out why I keep blowing the fuse...

Should be about 12 volts with the engine off, 14.5 with engine running.

some time I get about 11.5 when I turn the lights on and some times the volts shoot up to 78 or something crazy like that ??????IDUNNO

That's measured at the battery. IR losses will drop another 1/2 volt at the fuse box.

You must be getting a misread if you see 78 volts.

14.5 eh?? i only get 13.5 at idle .. time to tighten the alternator belt and maybe my lights wont dim when i press the brakes

I will keep checking it.. Would a burnt bulb blow the fuse like that???
