The last few times I took the cat out after about 10 miles or so (highway) then into town I would get this real high pitched sqeak like a tin plate scraping against something solid. Thought the rotor was scraping against the dust shield actually, every time I pulled over and looked under the tire/brakes I couldn't see anything and the noise would go away for awhile. :uhoh: Hmmmm, SO I decided to check my wheel bearings even though I know they were all new not 5 years ago....

The funny thing was it felt "fine" when I wiggled and turned it by hand. I think I was a hair stingy when I packed the bearings perhaps...? Not sure why they crapped out so soon? I know better than to overtighten and they seemed ok before I pulled it....but you can bet they are well packed now!! Maybe I used the wrong grease type? SO I bought another set of bearings for the other side anyway just because. I'll have spares around if anybody needs one! LOL
