Ok I have an 1968 cougar with drum brakes and I'm trying to install wilwoods 140-4304-b. I'm having trouble mounting the caliper bracket to the spindle. The spindle hole is a little small it looks like I can get it on if I hammer it. Plus do I need thread inserts for the spindles

? So this kit was supposed to adapt then? If you need to clearance it a bit I'd hit it with a step drill or die grinder perhaps..rather than hammer it on. Then it will come apart easier if you need to adjust. Kind of hard to envision what you have to deal with ...

That's the correct kit. I had a set go on tight as well, really had to clean the stepped part of the spindle to get it to slide over....you shouldn't need threadserts, this kit uses beveled headed machine screws that go in through the rotor side with nuts on the back side..

Ok I got it on today. I think it was just cause it was late and I was tired. I just found out that the wrong brake pads came with the kit. Where do I get brake pads plus brake lines
