:bloated:HI all can anyone tell me what is better i have been a chevy man all my live and iam new on work on this car called Ford Cougar Ha. i have a 351c 4v heads but at the junkyard is a what looks to be a 351c but on the haeds they have a M on them it is a 2barrel on it are the heads or block better then the 351c or what thanks for any help PS also how do you tell a c6 tans from a is it a fm?

The M series is not all that popular among performance guys, the Clevo's used to be quite popular once you get past the oiling issues they had - they are very beefy and high flowing heads. Unfortunately parts are getting harder to come by for them. I'd still opt for the Clevo if I had to spend the $. An FMX trans will have the rear portion of it in cast iron bolted to the bell housing....a C6 would be your prefered trans if you have one. although an FMX can be built if need be.....
