I just bought a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR-7 convertible an I was needing help decoding my door tag. Tag:OF94H562914 76B K380 6F PT PB. I will be selling my 1970 Cougar XR-7 hardtop with 351W & auto trans with 54K miles an replacing it with the convertible.

That is a buck tag not a door tag, It will not decode in the CCOA Vin decoder as is;

0F94H562914 = 1970 Dearborn built Cougar XR7 Convertible, Cougar sequence number 62,914 built at Dearborn in 1970
76B = XR7 convertible
K = exterior paint Medium Gold metallic
380 = rotation number
6F = interior trim Ginger vinyl and leather XR7 bucket seats
PT = Power Top
PB = Power Brakes

Here is a response I got from Phil Parcells when I sent him an update letting him know this car had been sold:

I can fill in a few more of the details, if you want to send this info to him. Iit was originally from DSO 16, and the scheduled build date is most likely 03F based on surrounding VINs. He should order a MArti report.
