Looking at headers for my 1970 351c 4v, some places say their's fit 67-70 and some 70-74. They look the same to me in the picture. Does anyone know?

These are Hooker headers I'm assuming? The 6210 and 6211 have minor differences in the drivers side tube if I remember correctly, mainly due to some of the later cars having a column shift. Drivers side is the difference. Ford Powertrain Applications offers a 66-73 4 tube for a 4v/2v that's kindof a universal fit, some clutch linkages may need some modifying. Check Network 54 or Google 335 Series Cleveland Forums, usually you can scrounge a set....

The 67-70 fit headers will be able to fit a tighter engine bay since the 71-73 Mustangs/Cougars (and 70-71 Torino) had a wider engine bay (frame rails moved outward an inch or so) to better fit the 429 engine option. I'd imagine the header manufacturers took advantage of that 'extra' room when designing headers to fit both 351Cs and 429s..

For your application, use the early-fit headers.
