Well I finished doing some repairs to my 69 and took her for a spin. A senior citizen was driving behind me as I pull up to my house. He waves my down and starts to talk to me about how much he likes my car and then says to me that he noticed that I had to brake lights. I said thank you to the man and he left. First thing that came to mind was the brake light switch, I look underneath and all seems to look ok. I get a jumper cable and unplug the switch and use the jumper. Nothing.... I pull on the headlight switch and yeah the lights are on (the taililights) but when I step on the brake, nothing. Ok, so I take a look the fuses and all seem ok. At this point I've narrowed it down to the sequential box and got a test light and check some of the points, seems ok. Oh get this my left side (drivers) turn signals dont turn on but my right side (passengers) does. What the heck?!

I've heard of an inline fuse and possibly a flasher, where are they?

Could it be my turn signal switch? (oh and all bulbs are ok)

this is on my 1969 Cougar standard
