So I have been suping up my cougar and it’s plenty fast but it’s now all over the road. I have a set of wide racy tires on the front and the back, and as a result the steering is all wobbly. Last summer I swapped out the new tires with a pair of stock ones it made quite a difference, however I can’t stand the thin stock tire vibe. Are there any specific handling packages that I can get a hold of? I’ve found a few people who specialize in that area but I’d like to make sure I’m not missing any other options before I go throwing more money/time at the problem.

these pics are a little old but you can check out the car here,

J best set your frt end up good as wide tires tend to track. Be sure toe and everything is set correctly. Tons of allterations you can make including shelby lowering and stiffer bar and springs. Wide tires though will likely track the ruts in road and is why I won't run them. They look good but driveability suffers
