1970 California Cougar, 351W. modified the whole venting/smog plumbing in the trunk. i know, probably shouldn't have done that. but now it's done.
i did save one of the lines to vent the tank. the question is, if it is venting properly and there is positive pressure built in the tank, why does the tank expel air when the cap is removed?
has anyone ever found a vented cap that can fit the neck of California Cougar tank?
how would the car react if the tank wasn't venting properly while driving? thanks-
billy
