Just install my headers and they fit nearly perfect. need to grind about a 1/8" off front of right side crossmember to clear a sharp corner. i have had a few horror stories with header installs and these fit great! just thought i would let others know how well they fit in a 71 with a 385 series engine. install was straight forward and not as bad as i expected.

I've had very good luck years ago with painting even used headers with Eastwood's Stainless Steel coating. I had to get all remnants of paint off the headers, then sprayed them with the Eastwood stainless paint. The headers stayed silver for years - and my car sat outside during Cleveland winters!!!
