Does anyone know where I can get an electrical wiring diagram, I seem to have a short.

what year of cougar are you working on?
you can get the diagrams through most of the parts dealers, Johns cougars ect.

what kind of problem are you having?

yeah just about any good cougar catalog has them - auto krafters, mustangs unlimited, Mustang parts of oklahoma...

72 mercury cougar

sorry; it is a 1972 mercury cougar xr7, the fuseable link blew, and now i hard wired it, and it burnt the wires and killed the car. So i belive i have a short. so a diagram of the wiring would be helpful, in where to look for the short.
