OK TIME FOR A NEW QUESTION..
Is in the process to change front window on my 70 cat and
have been talking to the person that shall change the window.
He is saying that it is the same as Mustang have,Is this correct?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o></o>
And here they comes with the mounting for the rearview mirror
on the glass. But is that the same as the Mustang?<o></o>

Stutz, looking in my Fords Part Interchange Manual, it says the windshield will interchange from all body styles from a '70 Mustang except a Fastback. John

Yes, the holder is the same because the glass is the same.

when you put in a order you can specified that one..
The size of the window can be the same but

Stutz, The 70 Cougar and Mustang use the same mirror, 69 Cougar and Mustang used a different mirror mount.
70 uses a flat mount that the mirror slides down over, 69 uses a ball type mount.

Thanks for this now I can rest easy.
The person that will help me have no experience about older cars
and a cougar have he never seen before…
So when he told me that Mustang and Cougar was the same then
I was little confused…
Know that there is many parts that is the same as to mustang
but there is just the same amount that not is the same….<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o></o>
