If I were you I would stick with the FMX. I just had my FMX rebuilt even though I was not having any problems with it. I figured having the motor out it would be the time to rebuild the trans also. You can still get the parts for the trans. I had a Trans-go shift kit installed and purchased a Pro-Torque Converter with a 2500 Stall speed. I bought new transmission cooler lines and a new mount from West Coast Classic Cougar.
