Just wanted to let y'all know that your President and his family are doing well in Florida.

Several SSCC members attended the 275-car cruise at Old Town, and were joined by the Giffen's.

First, it was a funny car darg race between 'Fearless' Jeff and 'Super' Rob Wallace. These racers are powered by compressed gas, and travel in excess of 100 MPH, while producing five G's of force! Super Rob was the winner, beating Jeff's reaction time of .016 with his .013! The pic is of Jeff BEFORE the race!

Then Jeff was named Grand Marshal of the 8:30 PM parade down Main Street, but it was son David who stole the show!

We're sending them back to Louisville with a few good memories! Make sure Dana shows you the video!

This was but another example of car enthusiasts enjoying each other's company. Jeff and all the crew in Louisville had shown us such a good time at the Nationals that we felt we owed to him to treat him to some "Sunshine Hospitality".

It was only fitting that he participated in the parade in Barry's conv., which just won the "Daily Driver" class at the Nationals. Between the Power Tour and the Nationals, the car and driver just logged over 7000 miles in the last month, and still looks as fresh as always.

The day also reminded us why we have our show season in the Fall, Winter, and Spring, and take a break in the Summer. It was a 3 plus shirt day for me, but very enjoyable. If you have never experienced the "Old Town" Sat. night cruise, you need to at least once. Thousands of people line the narrow street and are literally a foot or two from your car. It is like a driving through a wall of people.

Thanks, Jeff, for making our stay in Louisville so enjoyable. Maybe we can up there again in 2006? Maybe? We'll be there for sure!!!

Still can't catch up on work and everything else since our vacation... ha ha. Anyway, it was real nice to see the SSCC guys at the end of our trip. Old Town was a blast and 5 g's in that air powered dragster was awesome... nothing like going 0-111 in 2 seconds. David is still talking about the parade and how he got to wave to all the people. Here are a couple of pictures Dana took at the cruise:

The pictures of the parade are kind of dark but you can see them well with a good monitor. Hope to see you guys at the next nationals in VA... maybe I'll finally be able to bring my convertible and give Barry a run for his money.

Thanks again to all the SSCC members' hospitality at Old Town!!
