Ford part numbers

The panel you have there has the Ford part number on it. The Ford part number is easy to decipher if you know how.

C9WB-6563101-A decodes as follows:

C - 1960s decade number. likewise, a B is 1950s, D - 1970s, E - 1980s
9 - single digit year (when you put the two together, your part is a 1969)
W - Cougar (Z- Mustang, A-full size Ford, O-Torino etc.)
B - Warehouse
65 - Body style -- (some part numbers do not have body style numbers) 65 denotes hardtop
63101 - basic part number (describes what part it is)
A - color or revision number

The other number, 1 23 69 decodes to when the part was made. In this case, January 29, 1969

I hope this helps you.

Have you tryed West Coast Classic Cougar? In Oregon yet? Don Rush is a great guy to work with. His Phone number is 503-463-1130. Good luck finding the part. Neal.
