Hiya all,

I haven't been really active on the boards lately, but was busy with the job and the cat and all.
Anyway, I just wanted to share with ya all that I found a nice machine shop around here that specializes in Ford engines and doe sa lot af race prepping too.
So I'm gonna take my cylinderr block and heads there next week (this monday) to have it overbored and replace valve guides and seats (and some other minor things).
Will be done by the end of next week and then I'll go and start re-assembly of the whole thing.

It took a while but I'm coming to the part that it will be all back together in such a shape it will pass a road test (sort of DMV test) and I'll be getting a licenseplate. That would mean I can go and take it for a spin for the first time in the 14 months I've got it now.
I'm excited already...

Just wanted to share this with you all.
Thanks for all the great stories which kept me motivated to pick up the wrenches again and again and again to tinker with the cat.

Cheers!
Matthijs

Thats cool, specially to find a machine shop that specialises in Ford, really glad you are finally getting ready for the putting together stage, guess that means you will soon be hopping the Med and taking a short trip across Africa to come say hi to us.
