Will the brackets that go from the bottom of the front fender to the frame/bumper bracket interchange between 67-8 Cougars and Mustangs.

The Mustang bracket is too short. Cougar fender brackets are available in reproduction from all the Cougar vendors. Since you live in Dallas why not get a used one from Bodensteiners or Lin Thurston?

I wonder if those aremissing on my 70, if the 70 came out with them, the fender seems quite floppy, another thing to check tomorrow.
