i have a 97 XR7 4.6 116,000 miles It has a fast idle. about 1300 rpm. I replaced the TPS. That lowered it down to 1300 from 1500rpm
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Korey

Check for any cracked vacuum lines, that can contribute..
What is the idle supposed to be?

Yeah, take a look under the hood, at all the rubber lines, where they conect, and check for loose or cracked ends, and also splits along the length of the lines.
Once you have confirmed that they are either good or not, we can go from there...

Disconnect the idle air control valve with the engine idling. If the idle speed slows down or the engine stalls the engine computer is making it idle high for some reason. If nothing happens you have a vacuum leak. PCV hoses and the valves themselves are common sources for vacuum leaks on this engine package.

x3 ---2 easy ways to look for vac leaks - use carb cleaner to spray around those areas prone to leaks, or use a propane torch with a little peice of rubber hose on the end - crack it open slightly and similarly run it around areas prone to leaks you will hear it stumble if it sucks some in....
