Hey everyone..

Does anyone know what a vacuum line going straight into the back of my 69 exhaust manifold is for? Looks like it came that way... and it's going to the intake manifold vacuum.. can I cut it?

look at it closley

my vacume comes out of the carb,down around the EXHAUST manifold then back up into the carb.Is this what you are talking about?I could be wrong but I know it wraps around the exhaust and comes back in.My mind is frazzeled working on a 91 camaro my daughter left me to fix while she went to college.Anyone elese rowing the same boat?Logan have fun by the time you blink your eyes you will wish they were 5 years old again.

I think this is the carb choke heat line. The motor pulls *heated* air through a circuitous path that includes the exhaust so that the choke pulls off in a reasonable amount of time even if it's *freezing* cold outside.
