I'm putting the manifolds back in my car, and I bought some exhaust donuts to replace. But does the 351C 4V actually use these gaskets? The book makes it seems like they don't, and the replacements I got don't really seem to fit. Maybe there's another part number? If it didn't actually use donuts, how does it not leak?

I don't recall the 351C using them. But it has been a few years...

There are no gaskets used between the manifold and the H or Y pipe, it is a snug fit.

Ah interesting. Anyone got the torque specs? I'd be a little worried about breaking those bolts. Guess I should buy new bolts & lockwashers, too. And hit the mating surfaces with some steel wool or sandpaper.

Originally would have been studs in the manifold at the Inlet pipe. The torque for the nuts was 17-25 Ft.-Lbs.
