:1zhelp:
hi guys,
i've got a '85 couger that's supposed to have a 5.0cfi in it.i've dropped in a 5.0 from a '83 lincoln, got rid of the throttle body and put on a 2-barrel carb from a early 80's f-150.my problem is that the stock wiring from the '85 doesn't match with the '83.Should I get a harness from a '83 lincoln? What is it I have to do to remove the harness,I can't find much of any information on the removal or installation of the harness.By the way i'm not going to use any of the emission crap, and i've got duels and no converters.Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,my 2.3 ranger is just not a 302.

Try a harness from a manual transmission '83 Mustang GT. Those have a carburetor and no emission electronics and should plug into your factory connectors.
