Been a busy few weeks for me, but I'm making some time to get this updated. Doesn't seem to be much "new" on the market right now, so I wasn't in a hurry.

These listings are combed from popular sites (CraigsList, eBay, Hemmings, CarsOnLine, Kijiji, and others). As always, if you know of an Eliminator for sale please feel free to add it to the list. Or if you have any info / details or other general comments about an Eliminator listed here (or elsewhere) please feel free to pass along that info.

I've also linked this thread on CCC.com, here: http://www.classiccougarcommunity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1377

Another update on this one... Pretty much confirmed as a 351 (H) clone.

'69 -currently 460 / auto. Comp yellow with black interior. Modified. "documented". $15.5k
http://flint.craigslist.org/cto/3113281094.html
http://www.autotraderclassics.com/cl...ationId=174250

From the seller: "The vin code does not have a G, but was ordered with a 351 (H). The door tag is:

65A M 1D 31A 84 6 X"
Thanks for digging into this. The H-code clenches this as a clone, and not even a good clone. Door panels, front and rear seats, dash, gauges, mirror base and rear spoiler are all wrong for a '69 Eliminator, and that's just what's immediately obvious from the less-than-complete pictures. I'm sure a personal inspection would reveal even more indications that the car is not what its claimed to be. I hope no one gets scammed by the wild misrepresentations in the ad listing.

Yeah, I agree. It looks very "clone" just from the pics, but you just never know, right?

Sometime over 40+ years it takes a hit on the nose or tail, and now the lights aren't "Eliminator correct" anymore. Throw on a repaint and suddenly the mirrors, scoop and wing aren't correct anymore either. And that old interior was shot, but I got a sweet deal on these other seats...

That's why I post up even the ones that just don't seem quite right. You just never know unless you contact them and dig a bit. :)

Updated info; Having seen the pics, Dave (the owner) most likely saved this one from the grave.

'70 w/ 351, auto. Comp Green. *Sunroof car*. Project. Marti report.
http://members4.boardhost.com/ClassicCougar/msg/1341516765.html
http://members4.boardhost.com/ClassicCougar/msg/1341517551.html

From the owner:

"ok if your a pureist these might up set you. When I found the car the drive train was missing. so kinda hard to build a #s matching car. When i brought it home I didnt even know that the sunroof edition was a production run of only a 101 cars. the rust was minimal and all front suspension was trashed and distorted prob. from the towing off to junk yard. It has a 400 hp sm blk 351 from ford motor sports with svt heads and gt 40 valve train. cam is very bumpy. billet spec. serp system.Edelbrock pro flo multi port injection. Tremic tko 500 5 speed man w/ cobra r clutch and tremic style hydrolic throw out assembly. ford 9" with yukon 3.89 possi with rear disk conversion. needs new sway bar link kit made to custom lenth for stock rear sway bar assembly. all new ac from vintage air, painless style wire harness griffin rad. rod and custom motor sports front suspension with rack n pinion coil over. with adj front ride height. There is so much more that i have bought to finish up the car like interior and exterior parts both ford and after market. I also have the stripe kit for it as well. All said and done in in to this car about 32,000 and realize that i wont get that back out of it so I will entertain any serious offer. Thanx for your intrest in the car

Spotted this one today...

'69 Eliminator, no other details. $18k in CA
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/cto/3167916451.html
Got some info from the seller today. Looks like a clone.

VIN: 9R91M504157
65A M 2F 18K 53 6 X

Car is basically a white standard with added scoop and rear spoiler (both black), no stripe, no front spoiler. Interior is now black, but has the wood grain dash bits. Grille is not blacked out.
