I like the look of the cat on the fuel door, but I don't want to pay anywhere near 400 dollars to get it. Has anybody fabbed one up? It looks like you could just remove the LM badge, shoot it black, and install a westbound cat. It wouldn't be "accurate" but would still have that look to it.
Has anybody done it? How did it turn out for you?

Check it out, I did mine. The holes from the old emblem are barely covered but when the back plate is painted black its hard to notice

Your should be able to do this your self with the small cat or large cat. If your not looking for a Factory Eliminator look go with the big cat that your can buy and have a Nice Shinny cougar. This is the small cougar

Ebay is still a handy place to shop! Scored a decent complete assembly for less than fifty bucks, and it even has a pretty good lens! Now, how did you secure your expensive reproduction west bound kitty to the door?
