I have a 1969 XR7 with an M code 351 in it. I'm considering EFI for it and am looking at Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 as opposed to a throttle body such as a Holley Sniper. Has anyone installed the Edelbrock in their car? I'm concerned about hood clearance and if my factory tach will still work and the proper fuel delivery system I should use. Let me know if anybody has any thoughts on the subject. Happy motoring!

I just installed a ProFlo 4 on my 68 Xr7, I did use an offset air cleaner due to the height but a 2" filter did clear. There is a connection for the tach and it works fine. I used an intank pump with a Tanks Inc EFI tank.
Your 351 is taller than my 302 but the overall height is only 3/4 inch taller than stock.

Thanks for your input and picture. It is very helpful. I'm still deciding what I want to do.
