Just in case you did not know, Our cars never had a 4100 from the factory. The 4300 was the carb used on the 67 289 4V, 68 302 4V and the 351 4Vs, and the 69 390 4V. The 67 & 68 390 4Vs had Hollies, as well as the Boss 302 and CJ 428s Personaly, I think the 4100 was a better carb.

I have a 4300 on my 67 and I used to have a 68 that had a holley (4150?). I've never had intimate experiance with a 4100, but I figured it would be a good fit since it seemed to go well in Mustang circles. I think it was used on some Shelbys too..
What's your recommedation for a 289 topper...Edelbrock? or Any one of the Holley variants...demon, etc...
