Whenever youre putting a drive shaft in, sliding the yoke into the transmission output, but before putting the other side into the rear, how much room should you have between the ujoint and the rear yoke/rear end? I ask because if I push on the drivedshaft it will move into the trans a leave a good distance between the rear u joint and the surface of the rear yoke/rear.. the picture is not my car but just a reference as to the area Im talking about wma1.jpg

Yep - you need a good amount of travel to account for the rearend going up/down etc. So hows your vibration issue coming along - any change?
