Not sure if it is the same as my 68 or not? if so it was really easy. I used a small piece of wood. about a 1 inch by 1 inch by 12 inch piece and carefully started tapping upwards on the front of the trim. it is only snapped on. came right off without a mark on it. I don't know if the 70 is the same or not?
If you can find an old fashon bottle opener, wrap the end with some masking tape, and hook the little little narrow piece under the chrome and the wide piece over the chrome and lift up as though you are removing a coke cap. Start at the front and work back, once you get the chrome started, you can almost pull it off by hand, GO SLOW.
