I just bought a water heater that mounts in the heater hose line. The pump in the heater pushes the coolant in the same direction as it flows. the problem is that I don't know if the water is pumped into the heater core through the hose that comes off the manifold, or if it flow to the heater core via the water pump.
Thanks:confused:

I'm pretty sure the hose from the intake should be the inlet for the heater core and the outlet would go to the water pump. That way the heated water from the block and heads goes into the intake then into the heater core. I'm wondering if your heater core is plugged up or something. Usually if the heater system works right you don't need an aux. heater. My car is a 69 conv. it used too have a very heater until I replaced the core. Now it will almost run you out of the car.
