I'm currently looking for the rear quarter panel emblems that go on a Dan Gurney Special. Is there anywhere that maybe I could find these? Also, does anyone know where a picture is, cuz I don't even know what they look like? All help is much appreciated!

so you're telling me NO emblems go on the rear quarters of my car?
SOMETHING has to go there because I have 3 little holes on each quarter were emblems used to be.
and before you ask.....yes i know it's a true dan gurney special.
anyone else have any input?

I think you are talking about the retangular COUGAR emblem that goes on all 67's. sorry, dont have a pic but look in the photo gallery for 67's and you will se what I mean.

67, the DGS did not have a special quarter emblem...was the same one as all cougars in 1967. Here is a pic of a pair of emblems currently on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1837283470

The only thing different in terms of badging was a 1/4 window sticker on the passenger side indicating a DGS/car of the year. Mustangs Unlimited carries reproductions of these stickers @ $5.00.

Also, these emblems are not presently reproduced so used is about the only affordable way to go. Ebay had an NOS pair that sold in the $450 range if memory is correct.

Not sure about the cost but I've seen those emblems at swap meets. If your cool with reproductions I think you'll find some at John Classic Cougars.
