Well how about this for something that fell in my lap. I am not sure if I will buy it, but if I did it would probably be to flip it for some cash.
A friend texted me the other day and said that he knows of a 67 Galaxie for sale.
- 2 door fastback.
- one owner
- 68K miles
- 390 2bbl
- very clean body, only MINOR pimples on the rocker panel and... well... some MINOR ones around the left of the back window. Very minor.
- Running, and driving.
- power windows, power bench seat.
Now I ask a little more and he informs me that it's at his work. Well, he works at a Toyota dealership. Someone traded in this Galaxie for a 2010 Camry. Now the sales managers have this car in on trade that they really have little interest in. So my buddy asked me if I was interested.
So of course I go check it out today. I took pics, if you want, I will post them up or send them to you.
- Floors are incredibly clean.
- frame looks like its never been hit
- All of the exterior trim is present and in great shape.
- Runs and drives (once again)
CONS -
- 2 rear windows don't work.
- Passenger front window needs help when rolling up
- needs new kick panels
- Needs all 4 door panels. Sun damaged bad at the top.
- trunk full of old man supplies. It has a jar of trout bait if you need it.
- Leaks some oil. I don't know how bad, but while it was on the lift It was wet underneath.
- Leaks some PS fluid too.
- 4 wheel drums. Is it a con or just "comes with the territory"?
If you are interested, let me know. Might have to act quickly though as it is at a dealership and I would hate to see this thing to to auction.
