Hello to all the Georgia Cougar owners-I have reached out to many of you and advised you about my desire to get some Georgia Cougar owners together. I have decided on a date - Oct 24, 2015 at my house in Sharpsburg Georgia. The main purpose to get together is just to meet some of the local owners of Cougars. I have been guilty of not attending events, etc always because none of mine are running-well I am getting close but I cant even promise any of mine will be up and going-but that's not going to stop me. I say we meet from 1pm -5pm-bring your Cougar if you got it running-if you don't JUST COME OVER and meet fellow enthusiasts. I will grill some burgers/hot dogs and we can get to know each other a little better-AGAIN don't be like me-don't let a non running project stop you from coming over! I'm hosting and might not have any of mine road worthy. it will be a great networking opportunity - ask questions, check the cars out, etc. Let me know if you can make it by that Friday the 23rd. I will send directions out via email to those you can come over.

hope to see you

I'm not sure I can make it on the 24th but hopefully can work it out. Would like the opportunity to meet some locals and see their cars. I'll be sure to let you know in advance if I can get there. Unfortunately I won't be able to bring the Cougar. Engine is good but the front and rear glass are out and the top is stripped to bare metal waiting for me to get the courage to start patching with my poor welding skills. I've been practicing on the truck :)

Chris,

Thanks for the invite and making the effort. Unfortunately, I'm currently contracting in Taiwan and won't be back in the States until the end of January. I hope it's a success. I would love to meet the local group sometime in the near future. Again, thanks and good luck.

Chris,

I don't think I'll be in town that Saturday but if my plans get cancelled I will show up. Thanks for making the effort as there are not too many of us around these parts!

Cheers,

Brian

I was sure hoping to get there but I'm just not going to be able to make it happen this time. Please be sure to post some photos of any cats that make it. Thanks

Last one. Interior of the 69 428CJ RA Ratcat. Thanks again to Chris Jones for putting this together. Now the rest of you need to get your cars put back together and drive them.

Jeff, you're alive! Streetside Classics is having a car show Saturday December 5th from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. Everyone needs to get their cats working and come on out. They put on a good show.
