My original console had two hairline craks near the ash tray and I tried so hard not to break it while removing the interior in Kitty but it busted almost completely in half.:( Other than that it is near perfect.

Does anyone restore these or is it trash?

Judy, Eastwood has a repair kit for plastic, they show it with a console. You should check them out if you want to try it yourself, I don't know of any body who restores them, but someone here may...
good luck, either way you go.But don't trash it untill you have another one.

Thanks!
I'm going to try the Eastwood thing. I hate to trash anything that is not reproduced.:)

Too bad you didn't ask me. For $10 I suggest you buy methylene chloride and weld the console back togetrher. Its like magic but its not

Hi, Ray

I hadn't done anything yet with the console. Where do I get that stuff?

Oh, I wanted to ask you....should I keep an old dash pad with lots of cracks? Do you restore them?

Did you do that door panel restoration "How to" story yet?
I got 3 sets of door panels now.:)
