Call Classic Auto Air at 813-251-2356, follow the prompts to the Tampa office and ask for Ron. He's the member here and owns a 1970 Cougar. He's been very helpful to me.
Got ahold of Ron, and had a great phone call! kicked Cougar tires and had a few good laughs! Ron got me fixed up w/ correct hoses, and looking forward to cooler air soon (today is going to be 96+
Thanks Ron! (and those who got me the contact info!)
the guys @ classic all graduated from the school of customer service with honors---vintage air should re attend the class !!
i dont know about their "dirrect fit" stuff but their hot rod air units are far more user friendly---they have the spall fan , separate heater and a/c coils and the outlets are placed pointing toward where the ducts will be used----vintage air has all the ducts aimed toward the drivers feet/gauge panel.i'm in the process of mocking up the desoto and i'm impressed with their quality and customer support
