So my rear end leaks and I cleaned it up to see where. It is leaking from around the bottom stud. Any thoughts on how to make sure it stops? I will be taking it apart soon and do not want it to leak any more after I put it back together.

I would like to think that a good housing gasket and rtv would do the trick but it doesn't seem to be. I put it together a few years ago.

The pinion nut leaks too but I know what I am going to do there.
