:1zhelp: I need some help finding a cheap auto transport.

Everyone wants $1200 bucks to ship from Chicago, IL to Stockton Ca.

Can anyone help me find something a lot cheaper to get this car to California.

The only way I know to go cheaper is to go with on open carrier instead of a closed carrier.

Is it drivable? If so, maybe someone the seller knows (of for that matter anyone) might drive it out for you.

Perhaps a one way ticket and driving it back yourself? That's how I got my Cougar from Fort Worth to Minneapolis.

Last, maybe rent a truck and trailer and go git the little kitty...:D

A few years back I shipped my full size mercury S/W to Phoenix AZ. from Everett WA. for under $700. It was a open carier. Unfortently I lost the card. But check the local brokers. Also if it does not run they will hit you with a surcharge. Good luck. Neal.

Thanks

Thanks for the help everyone, looks like my problem with the price is because it don't run like Neal said.

I guess I'll just have to pass this one up and see if I can find something a little closer.:(

Thanks again!
