We have Tshirts with the show logo. We chose a 1971 Cougar Convertible and a 1970 Cougar Hard top for theis years art work.
I am going to try and make to this show this year for the first time. Been always wanting to come down for many years now to check out the cougars south of the boarder. Will try and get my Cobra together to bring it down for the show as my Cougar is in pieces. How many Cougars do you roughly anticipate this year? Cheers.
We would love to have you down. Cobra or Cougar or just you. We get about 45 Cougars and a 40 or so other Ford, Mercury Linclon and others at the show. You might check with the Fordnutz club. They usualy come down as a small group.

45 minutes with the picture loder and nothing!
I thought about it last year. That art work would have been stunning on a clock. I'm thinking anout haveong spome made with just the base artwork.
I did 2 desk clocks for raffle items. 1 is in the picture top right. I hear the weather will be good, Sunny and 80ish...
Well folks, tomorrow is the day. I hope the weather brakes. It's been wet. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can. For those who Facebook you can go to my wall for pictures too. http://www.facebook.com/#!/badcattt
Have a great weekend!
When/Where is the 2013 Prowl? I might be able to hop down. Also, to whom it may concern the Leavenworth drive is a cruise from the Seattle area up Hwy. 2 to Leavenworth. June 15. Proceeds benefit charity and there are usually about 700 cars. Previous years have been VW's, BMW's and other assorted Eurotrash, but my friend notified the truck forums and they will be showing up en masse. Sadly I can't make it because it is the same day as Graduation.
Hopefully I'll have mine up and running by then. If anyone wants to come down to Tacoma and help acar novice with his Cougar, I'll be forever grateful. I'll be joining the club here shortly and I'm pretty excited!!
You were given lots of good advice and direction in your other thread. Start with purchasing the shop manuals and read them You can't begin a restoration without a good selection of at least basic hand tools so you'll need to head to Harbor Freight and get yourself the basics. Once you have the manuals and tools, you can get started. This hobby is neither cheap nor easy but if you have a desire to learn and some basic mechanical aptitude, you'll be able to get your car on the road.
Our next club event is at Griot's Garage in Tacoma on Saturday April 20th at 10:00 a.m. where we'll be having a demonstration on polishing paint. While that may be putting the cart before the horse in your case, it will be a good opportunity for you to meet the guys and get some in-person advice.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
